Kourosh Khamooshian MD

Dr. Khamooshian graduated from Kermanshah University of Health and Medical Sciences and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the UCLA-Kern Residency Program, affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine Post-Graduate Medical Education. He was awarded a prestigious accolade from the UCLA Research Institute for his contributions during the Acinetobacter baumannii outbreak at Kern Medical Center (2009-2010).

Since then, Dr. Khamooshian has served patients in various healthcare settings, including acute care facilities at Sharp, Scripps, and Eisenhower hospitals, as well as outpatient clinics.

In addition to his clinical work, he volunteered as Chief Medical Officer, providing humanitarian medical services in Istanbul, Turkey, treating underserved patients in refugee centers.

Dr. Khamooshian also contributed to research on longevity and wellness, focusing on the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and has been involved in medical education since 2015 as a Clinical Associate Professor at Eisenhower Medical Center.
